Grandmaster Withoks of the chocolate-wizard foundry, we were pushed deep underground to prevent utter destruction of our civilization. We managed to save everyone and have grown to great measures of power, populace, and technology. But there is a problem within our deposit. A rift from the Demonlands has opened up in the reactor room recently. They now control the corridor leading to the reactor room and residential quarters. So far, we've just stayed in the barracks. Even our powerful Coca-Magic isn't powerful enough to banish the demons. Lead us to victory, O great Withoks!
You have 4,000 Cocoa Pebbles.

Alright. I need 5 more Cocoa-Battlemages. Start a patrol near the edge of the area the Demons have taken. I want as many people as I can mining for whatever materials we can find. Get some men to the NVAPP to list whatever other materials we have.

[You start in the NVAPP deposit.]
!Warning! Purchasing five Battlemages will cost $3,750 Cocoa Pebbles. After this you will be considered bankrupt and will begin to have rebels within your civilization. Do you want to proceed?
You send some Chocobo Riders to the perimeter to scout for any demonic activity. +15 Perception, +1 to Fate Rolls
You send many of your citizens to go mining for minerals which makes them tired and upset. Although, you find sulfur, zinc, and potassium. -5 Popularity, +1 Cruelty

Do not proceed with the Battlemages. As for my commoners, make them work for 5 days a week, 6 hours a day in shifts. We will continue mining in the shape of rooms and corridors with hope of finding materials and creating more room.
I'd like to begin researching various magically enhanced mining tools, to see if such a thing is possible.

Your people are somewhat relieved that they get a two-day break. +1.25 Popularity
You try to magick your tools but end up making Fâg, a sentient bundle of tools.

A sentient bundle of tools you say? How much to make some more? Eventually, I want to replace them with my human workforce. For every human worker I replace, I'd like to begin an education...somehow. If I can reconstruct these tools (and more importantly, get them to work for me,) I'd like to place them in the mines and hold a lottery for which worker is no longer working.

Fâg is a unique specimen, and cannot be recreated.

Shame that is. Is he/she (Fâg) able to speak?

Fâg communicates by clanking his metal parts together without any defined terms. Due to him just being tools, he has no defined gender.

Well I'll just give him a small room, and spend some time teaching him to communicate with us later. As of now, I have access to sulfur, and there are demons I need to remove. I'd like to begin looking through my list of spells, to see if any of the fire based ones can be made more...potent using sulfur.

There's the Sooper Smelly Fireball spell.

Well then, I think I have myself a plan. Using my Sooper Smelly Fireball, I'm going to try and clear out some of the demons. I want someone to report if any new materials are found in the mines, and I'll be taking some sulfur (in very small doses, to avoid a cave-in) to blow up the demon hordes. Have the guards spotted any demonic advances since they took the residential quarters?

The demons summon the infamous Miley Cyrus and her twerking powers that ward off your spell.

The infamous Miley Cyrus, you say? We aren't capable of dealing with that level of pop culture! We'll have to find a way to ward her off a long time from now. Have the miners mined out anything big enough for a room of some sort? I'm going to try to make a new common room.
