In 1984, China began to wage war with Russia which elevated into the U.S's intervention. China was annexed by the United States and Russia. Newtero City was declared a neutral zone between the border of American China and Russian China. It was ungoverned politically and any countries founded within the small area weren't counted as actual countries by the global consensus. Although, the only reason why neither Russia nor America wanted Newtero City was because it was built over a large military-dedicated city and nuked by Russia. A large barbed-wire fence was erected around the perimeter of Newtero until it was deemed inhabitable for the average human being. Although there are still large patches of radiation mainly towards the ground zero. This was the third atomic bomb dropped in the history of human warfare by Russia.
The U.S and Russia were locked in a Cold War for over thirty years. But finally America unveiled the "Uncle Sam". It was a large war machine designed by some of the most advanced engineers in the United States. It's equipped with a shoulder-rail gun, eight mini-guns, a rocket launcher, and focused heat-ray. It also stands nineteen feet tall. Now it's 2018, four years after the Cold War ended with multiple nuclear threats from both the U.S and Russia. But halfway through, the U.K interjected itself into the Cold War by producing the TH-7L12 laser rifles, nicknamed "Big Reds". Between the U.S, U.K, and Russia, the world was constantly on edge, afraid of the almost certain nuclear war.
The U.K and U.S decided on a research agreement on household robots and then militarized ones, this was in 2005. Four years later in 2009, Mr. Lobster is created in the RC Laboratories in the U.K. Militarized units became widespread within the two armies and they created the Ameri-Britannica Global Force (ABGF). The reason why this is relevant is because the black market in Newtero sells private robots, and big reds.
You are a citizen of either Russo-China or Ameri-China that has gone to Newtero to gather treasure, or to feel the sheer adrenaline of murder. Although maybe you aren't from either countries and you've come on an airplane.

Caches can be found around Newtero with old Chinese firearms and other weapons left over by the people who go to Newtero. Also, a group of firearms producers funded the Newtero Care package Program, which drops care packages with recently made by the firearms producers like Colt and H&K.
Radiation:
Although Newtero's radiation level has gone down quite a bit since the bombing in 1989, it is still dangerous to be in area too long without proper medication and protection against the radiation. The Newtero Jalan Enclave {NJE} have created the antibiotic known as Deff, a 700 mg pill that provides a large resistance against radiation and also cures radiation sickness.

[Customization]
Throughout Newtero, people use spray cans to delicately customize their firearms and mark their property. Some of the people even learned how to create patterned spray cans which spray out... patterns when you use it. Although, it takes up an entire spray can to customize your weapon and you can only do it so many times before the paint sticks and you can't customize it again.
