"Yes. We will not get shot down?" She asks, a mixture of an order and a question.

The pilot looks at Agent Royal with a slight chuckle. "Shot down? Not at all. I'm not landing you right on the target, though; So you might hit a road IED along the way. I'm sure you'll manage."

Agent Royal sits back, not exactly comforted. A road IED would be a very anti-climactic way to go. She always imagined that, if she were to die, she would die on a mission. Dying from something stupid or completely unrelated to her actions would be unfortunate. She was always very careful around stairs when at her residential areas. Slipping and breaking her neck would not be a legacy she would want to leave behind. Then again, in most countries, she was already dead.

Agent Royal:
The pilot takes a second look at you as he slowly began to guide the jet from the hangar. "You're being dropped off by our grand US fighters over-seas. Who do you think put out this kind of contract?" he says, then adding "They'll get you where you need easily enough."

"It could easily be another extremist organization," Agent Royal said. "Is Agent Nightingale taking another plane?"

[Agent Royal is aboard the same plane. Any conversation about tactics and planning should be discussed now. Contract will skip to Iraq when both agents are ready to wish it so.]

Agent Royal leaves the pilot's room and steps back into the relaxation quarters of the plane, where Nightingale is.
"Hello, Nightingale," She says.

I glance at Royal, giving her a slight smile.
"Hello", I say simply. "As much as I'd love to exchange pleasantries, we should problem discuss our plan for when we land."
I pause as I recheck all of my equipment. "Obviously, one of us will need to free the prisoners while the other takes out the target. Which would you be best at?"

"Are you are 'people person?" Royal says, sitting down and grabbing a bottle of water. She couldn't imagine herself being very calming.

"That's a funny question to ask considering we're about to go kill some people", I joke. "Are you a people person?" I ask her almost rhetorically.
While I speak, I'm reading through the mission file without even looking at Royal.

"No. I was going to segway into asking which one of us would be better with the hostages," Royal gets comofortable in the chair.

I close the file and turn to Royal - actually paying attention to her for once.
"What are you good at?" I ask her simply.

"My skills were described on the dossier as being focused on stealth, acrobatics, and knife play," She reaches over and takes the folder and look inside, switching between Nightingale and the folder.

I nod. "Similar to me. We'll probably make a good duo. So, which part of the mission would you rather do?"

"Pacify any guards, and assassinate the target, while you rescue the hostages," Royal says, reading over the mission file.
"Perhaps we could make some chloroform if the hostages get too loud?" She adds.

I shake my head. "No. If we knock out the hostages we won't be able to evacuate them. I can't carry three unconscious people on my own, Royal."
Although I'd rather be assassinating the target, rescuing the prisoners should prove a challenge. Plus, there'll probably be some guards for me to take out.

"Good point. So, you think you will be able to handle the hostages all by yourself? Perhaps we should rescue the hostages first, and then kill Ka'im Altaf Ba?"
|
|
|
Post by rose the barmaid on Aug 5, 2015 20:07:14 GMT
I nod. "That's smart. If we free the hostages first then they'll hold no leverage over us, so we won't have to hesitate when killing Altaf Ba."
Stretching my arms, I ask her another question. "So, we either do this together or split up and do each objective alone - we can both probably handle the guards thrown at us. I think splitting up is the most ideal option, but what do you think?"
|
|
|
Post by Gwebster2 on Aug 5, 2015 20:09:36 GMT
"If we were to split up, I assume I would get into an ideal position take out The Target while you rescue the hostages, give me a signal, then I would do my job," Royal stares out the window, imaging the scenario.

"We've both got earpieces, so I can signal you through that. I think we've got a solid plan, Royal. Let's hope we don't run into anything unexpected."
