HERE YE, HERE YE!
WRITING CONTEST IS HAPPENING! HERE YE, HERE YE!
...
SHUT THE FUCK UP!
The Tavern quiets down. "Now, as you all know, most of here, are fairly creative, imaginative," Gee-Web says. This gets a few laughs.
"Yes, laugh all you want, but you know it's true. The Bartenders here have decided to formulate a contest, of sorts. Every so often, and, I do mean often, we'll make a contest. It will have a theme, a rough dead-line, and, best of all, a prize," Gee-Web says.
"The others don't know I'm doing this yet, but I'm sure they won't mind. The first writing contest should be a 300 long short story describing..." Gee-Web pauses.
"Um..."
"Okay, pause," Gee-Web steps down from his chair and goes to get the other Bartenders. He just had a total blank. The Tavern patrons complain, but swiflty get back to drinking, rolling dice and writing.

How about a script contest? (Movie scripts, play scripts, ect.) They're the single-player roleplay of the writing world! Remember to include scene changes, actor direction and/or camera direction.
