You're a man of Rith our lord and protector from all darkness, since you were a child you were told the tales of Rith and how he became king of all gods and ruled the world with his great power, how your people are his children and how it's your duty to defend him as he defends you; now you've been given a chance to fulfill your destiny.
The Kings of the three kingdoms of Rith have noticed a terrible plague that had spread across their lands, their faith is dying the once great people of the north wish to follow the seven divine and instead of the one true lord of this land.
The Kings called for a holy war in which they would spread their faith across all of Verano and have invited more then million men to join the army. You're one of them.

Three Kingdoms of Rith
Halrith: They were the only kingdom to be fully conquered by the empire and thus almost lost their northern roots but luckily they've redeemed themselves by joining this war. They are a kingdom known for having many blonde folk, being the capital of all alcohol and being great fishermen.
Bonus, Give a man a fish...: Your troops won't starve in coastal or fresh water lake areas.
Joined the holy war but not in direct conflict with anyone
Islerith: A hardy folk who have managed to fight off invaders for hundreds of years, they're the oldest of the three kingdoms and enjoy bragging about this fact. They're constantly at war due to their less then helpful location. Lastly due to being a island kingdom they've amazing boats and made many to defend their land even with their lack of wood.
Bonus, Islandannia rules the waves: Your ships have a auto +1 to all their rolls
At War with Creadic
Uemarith: The biggest and most feared of the three kingdoms it's known for it's constant raids and attacks on the southern and sometimes even the northern kingdoms. It's considered the defender of the whole religion and plans on slowly murdering anyone who wishes to be in it's way. Known for hating all it's neighbors aside from Halrith.
Bonus, Everyone is a levy: You get 10% more troops
At War with EVERYONE WHO'S A NO GOOD ASSHAT WHO REFUSES TO WORSHIP RITH PRAISE RITH PRAISE RITH
Taisdom: Puppet state made by Uemarith to annoy it's southern neighbors,
