Welcome to the Tavern!
Drinks on the house! This is a forum for people of all skill levels of writing. Not only do we roleplay, but we also enjoy out of character conversations. There are, however, some rules that you need to follow if you want to be accepted here.
These must be followed everywhere. Breaking rules will result in the following punishments,
though the punishment can depend on the offense, these are the most often given punishments.
Otherwise, enjoy your time here at the tavern!
Rules
RULE NUMBER 1: Do Not Post Personal Information of Other People
I'm not going to be as strict as Tim for this one, but if you put it in malicious context you will be given a week ban for first offense, and permanent ban for second. As someone who has had my IP posted, I understand what it's like to have your information posted in the intentions of harming you, but if it is a joke then no punishment will be given, unless the person who's information is being posted requests your post be edited. If you decline, you will be punished.
RULE NUMBER 2: Do Not Spam Anywhere
Spam is annoying and has no point other than making people want to hang you by the intestines. So just don't do it.
RULE NUMBER 3: Listen to Admins
Obey the admins and what they tell you to do, unless what they say violates another rule. If they are attempting to get you to break a rule, report them to another admin.
RULE NUMBER 4: This is Not a Democracy
This is not a democracy, nor will we ever claim it to be. Some things will be decided by votes, such as suggestions, but overall the admins have command.
RULE NUMBER 5: Use Your Common Sense
Don't bother saying "It's not in the rules". You should know what you shouldn't do and what you should do.
RULE NUMBER 6: No Pornography
Is it necessary to post female breasts or groins?Yes. No. Only exceptions are historical artwork. I.E; statues, paintings, etcetera.
though the punishment can depend on the offense, these are the most often given punishments.
Otherwise, enjoy your time here at the tavern!

Warning level increased by 10% for every offense.
At 20%, day ban.
At 50%, week ban.
At 75%, 2 week ban.
At 100%, permanent ban.
All bans are IP bans
The Redemption Policy
If you do manage do have a warning level, you can get it reduced. If you report five people that are breaking the rules and you report them legitimately, your warning level will be reduced by 10%. This is to enforce good behavior and vigilance within our community to keep this forum friendly to all of our users.
Post Reductions
Here in the Writing Tavern we have this thing called a post reduction. If you break one of the rules, not only will your warning level be increased, you'll have an 'x' amount of posts removed depending on the severity of the offense.
